Top 5 for May

Hey y’all. Ugh. Hannah Montana ruined my favorite greeting. Anywho, so I’m gonna do my top 5 for May. So here we go chillens!

5. Part of Me – Katy Perry
It’s a Katy Perry song, and she’s like the summer queen. All of her songs feel summery. I listen to Taylor Swift in the winter and Katy Perry in the summer. Simple as that.

4. Buried Alive – Avenged Sevenfold
It’s one of their prettiest songs. I’ve been on an edgy kick lately, sue me :)

3. Say You Like Me – We The Kings
Not only is it a very summery song, but it sorta has a sentimental note to it as well for me. A tip guys: learn this song and play it to your girl. If she doesn’t love it, she’s NOT worth your time.

2. Starships – Nicki Minaj
I might lose all of your respect for this one. Haha. Have you noticed the theme? Yes, SUMMER. I only have two more weeks of Middle School then I’m HOME FREE BABY!!!!!!! I have to graduate first, of course, but… Minor details. I just can’t wait to lay out by my pool ALL DAY. And that’s all I’ll do all summer. Yessiree! Haha.

1. Boyfriend – Justin Bieber
JUST KIDDING!

1. Sweet Darlin’ – She & Him
This song sounds like it was recorded back in the sixties, but believe it or not, it was only recorded about three years ago. You have to have appreciation of all music and many different varieties, so that’s why I included this to mix up the poppy “junk”. Haha.

Okay, that’s enough excitement for today. Peace out my chillens.

My Top 5 for April

Hey guys. So I did a “Top 5 for February” so I’m gonna do a “Top 5 for April”. Okay, here we go.

My Top 5
1. Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen I tried to hate this song. I really, really did. But it’s impossible. It’s one of those annoying can’t-get-it-outta-your-head, new-crush tunes. I can only dream of having one of those. I hope she doesn’t turn into a one-hit-wonder though…

2. Unfriend You by Greyson Chance
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a Greysonator. I’m not ashamed at all. I asked him to prom, but he’s in Malaysia right now and he can’t fly back to Oklahoma for an eighth grade prom, unfortunately. Oh yeah, the song. It came out last year or so, and I love it. The music video has my next pick as a cameo in it…;)

3. Put Your Hearts Up by Ariana Grande
If you’ve seen Victorious on Nickelodeon, you’ve seen Ariana Grande play Cat, a ditzy red head who goes to Hollywood Arts and can SING. Put Your Hearts Up is her first single, and I highly recommend it even if you’re not into the R&B-Pop thing, ’cause this nineteen-year-old has an insanely beautiful voice!

4. Rack City by Tyga
I don’t usually listen to rap, but lately I have been. The Motto by Drake, Rack City, even Mirror by Lil Wayne ft Bruno Mars are some songs I’ve been listening, especially The Motto in the mornings!

And last, but certainly not least,

5. Lights by Ellie Goulding
It’s recently taken my small-town by storm, and at the prom tonight it will no doubt be played at least a few times. Who can get over it? We can’t!

earthdayshuff.

Here’s the poem for Earth Day, kids, which is written in sarcasm. ;) Tell me if you thinks the last couple parts are funny.

Don’t you love rambling the streets

Digging up people’s trash, just because the others are lazy enough to not?

Don’t you love, kicking the heaps of mixed-mashed only-God-knows-what?

Not to mention breaking your back and being rushed to the ER becuase you tripped on a Red-Bull can?

And even better? Don’t you just ADORE your scar which you made while kicking some idiot who chucked a Jack-Daniels nip on to the pavement?!

Cheers to the jerks who are complete hobos when it comes to being self-aware of Earth!

Happy Earth Day, and 0110010001101111011011100010011101110100001

Just a poem

Blurred and conflicted I get out of bed
Memories of yesterday still kill my head
I can’t move
Every breath filled with dread
You said that this was the last time
You’d ever think about me
You said I was just a big mistake
Can you really smile with no regret?
Forget the world, forget everyone
You’re going back to your old ways
Laugh at their jokes,
Malicious as they can be,
Even when they’re directed at me
How can you
How dare you
I see what they’ve done and I hear what they say
No matter I do I can’t run away
You’re the worst of all
We used to be in love
I feel so small
I give up

To the boy I thought was the one. You are a load of rubbish. Sincerely, the “b-word who ruined your life” and found out about her before your “friend” told me.

(I realize ^^^ may be awkward for you to read since you don’t know the full story, but I hope you get the gist from the poem and the dedication ^-^)

Tie Up A Smile :D

Hey guys, this song is a collaboration between TFB and I, so is dedicated to TFB ;)

*******

*radio messages about shootings, crappy weather, deaths, etc*

(Verse 1)
*little girl says, “Mommy, I LOVE this song!”
Five in the morning
Staying up with the rain
Looking at pictures
Which shows my pain
I know you’re depressed and I’m am too,
But when I have a chance, I’ll make it through
And so you and the world can see we’re free
We’ll rise to the top, to rich from poor
And you’ll be thrown to happy from bored

(Bridge)
I can’t say I’m not killing time
But aren’t you doing the same thing?
Are we out of line?

(Chorus)
Baby
I know we’re just too proud to say
What we really think
Darling
I’m not very good at speaking
My mind
But Honey
you know I’m always right beside you with a ribbon to
Tie up a smile

(Bridge
Now the sun’s up and
The rain’s long since stopped
A long day (it’ll be)
I can’t seem to find my shoes
I’ve lost all my sense to you
Again
Now I feel like I’m falling but
No one will catch me anyway
You stand in the doorway
You want to come in
And I walk away

(Chorus 2X)
Baby
I know we’re just too proud to say
What we really think
Darling
I’m not very good at
speaking my mind
But Honey
you know I’m always right beside you with a ribbon
to tie up a smile

And you try to walk away
And I try to let you go
But we both know
What I said that time
The problem revolve the time again
And we know that we know

(repeat Chorus 2X)

To tie up a smile
To tie up a smile
*radio messages about great weather, births, funny things, love, etc. and they fade out*

*****
To tie up your smile *girl says softly and excitingly “That song’s the BESTEST!”*

*****
Fin. Again.

Heartbroken (Life as we Know It)

I was in a love problem, so this is dedicated to my crush. <3

*****

*soft piano intro*

Waiting out my window for Orion to perform

Throwing bow and arrows on the mighty Minotaur

Thinking ’bout you day and night

My heart is pounding, I wanna fight.

I never meant to be a fool, it’s just my personality

I know it doesn’t maybe, but just imagine the possibilities. *drum beat starts *

I know you’re with him now, my mind is set

But I just having trouble, so much trouble, trying to forget

The rain falling down on my head like a pillow (pillow, pillow, pillow, pillow)

And girl, when I spotted you, the sun melted it a-way ( away, away, away)

Right when I saw you, I fell in love, with you.

And I wondered, and wondered, if this would work.

Your cool blonde hair waving in the breeze

Your bold blue eyes gleaming in the street

Feeling kinda’ shy I walked up to you

And in my head, I was say-ing,

Let me see your fa-ace

Smiling in its’ pla-ace

Just show me the truth, so I can see you.

And I’ll never, ever, leave you.

You are a shooting star

just as the way you are

And there’s nothing less I can say, of you

That’s just life as we know it

(mezzo-piano piano solo, then song picks up to soft rock)

I sitting on the playground yard

Tangled up with rock and yarn

Staring at you, with my red blushed face

I felt heartbroken, it’s bleeding with pain

When the whistle blows, I try to get up

But my bones at augmented to the ground

So, I left you and meddling friends and I took a walk down to the bridge

The water shining like your baby blue eyes and sand like your moon blonde hair…….

*With a fun. voice*  So, as I fall down as the wind runs through my hair

I am startstruck, praying to God sayin’

‘Why me? Oh lord, why me?”

And then time stops. * murmured* ( you should be scared >:) )

And she screams,

Let me see your fa-ace

Smiling in its’ pla-ace

Just show me the truth, so I can see you.

And I’ll never, ever, leave you.

You are a shooting star

just as the way you are

And there’s nothing less I can say, of you

That’s just life as we know it

And then she crumpled down, and crys.

****

I know, dark. None of this is true, thank God. :) So…..

Fin. XD

Project: Reboot (Was there already a project called that? XD)

Okay, I think we’ve all notice, that we’ve been really inactive, so they seriously need some sort of reboot. So, ASAP, I’ll be writing some new songs for a new album titled “Life as We Know It”, which’ll talk about everyday life and what’s it’s like through a boy’s eyes (IT members, if you have any ideas, I’d loved it :) ). AS said before, it’ll be worked on ASAP, (P.S. I’m thinking about changing my name to MonoWrech, thoughts?)

My Top 5 For February

Um, hey. We’ve been pretty inactive lately. I’m sorta ashamed. I’ve been listening to music, not really making it. I’ve been trying to get inspired, but I just haven’t succeeded. I guess this is a form of Writer’s block… I think I have permanent writer’s block. Oh well. So have any of you updated your playlists lately? I know I have. I’ve been wandering away from pop and rock lately and walking into soul… (more and more Amy Winehouse…?) haha. I don’t know. I think I’ll write my top 5 songs for February :)

My Top 5
(for February)
1.You Know I’m No Good – Amy Winehouse Like I said, soulful is the theme, haha.

2.What Money Paid For – The Good Mad Okay, this song is a really good Folk song. It’s free on their website, so google them. It’s really good.

3.Blackout – Breathe Carolina
I. Love. This. Song. Just Sayin’. There’s no other explanation.

4. Safe and Sound – Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars
I probably sound like every other teenage girl out there, but this is a seriously beautiful song. The music video was just icing on the cake. It seemed so different from her usual work, so it was almost refreshing. I definitely recommend this song.

5. Forever and Always – Bullet for My Valentine
I don’t know how old this song is, and I really don’t care. I still love it. True, this is one of the few songs I like by them, but still. It made my top five, didn’t it?

So thanks for reading. I highly recommend all these songs. So I high five you through the screen if you already have any of these. :)

Peace, Love, Pancakes.
TFB.

More Updates!

Ok, so we’ve beeen kinda un-band-ish.

Theo: Ya think?

Me: Shut up, Theo. I’m kind of in the middle of a post.

Theo: I think we got that. -.-

Me: Ugh. Rebellion.

Anyway, I’m going to be sending some music to Hijuyo and hopefully you can listen to some new tracks soon! :D Also, I’m retiring as a SONGWRITER, but not from the band. Songwriting isn’t something I do well, so most of my songs are short and not that good. I’ll still be making music, but not more songs coming from this machine.

I updated the Planet Battery page, so check that out whenever you can. You can see all the transmissions I’ve left, and I placed a link to Jiggmin’s Village.

We have a new sponsor, PWH: LND. I’ll tell you more ’bout them later! Steele, out! ^-^

Updaaaating!

Hello, fellow band members and fans!

It’s me, Mimic. I’m pretty much going into final name for a while: –DarkAlt–. I’m making a new page on some mysterious stuff, and I’m also deleting a few things. In short, this place is going to look a little different when I finish this post.

I’m not doing Project Cyclone, just because it’s a plain bad idea. Besides, we’ll probably be updating soon. I’m changing the plot of Planet Battery and hiring some crew to help me finish it. We’re finally making progress on that! :D

So, I’ll stop typing now and let you see what you can find different. It isn’t much, really.
